How do you feel about Disney’s live action remake choices lately? (Mulan/little mermaid)

Idc who they cast, but I’m not wasting my time on Mulan if Mushu isn’t going to be a part of it.

I love the live actions. There’s just something that takes me back to when I watched them all the first time. But also I didn’t know there was no mushu until I read these comments!!! What the heck Disney!

I really don't mind the decisions the decisions that have been made (I'm supposing you're referring to a black actress being cast as Ariel and no Mushu in Mulan) but I haven't been big on the live action remakes as a whole.  Most, I've had no desire to see (Dumbo, Jungle Book, Pete's Dragon) and the ones I have seen, I haven't really cared for and would rather watch the originals instead.   Aladdin's come the closest, but I'd still rather watch the original animated film.  
To me, Disney doing all these remakes is little more than a cash grab since it's playing on people's nostalgia and I'd rather see them invest in bringing back more 2D animation than yet  another live action remake.

They pretty much plan to have live action/cgi remakes of all the classics. I love it because I love Disney movies. I'm especially excited for The Lion King!
Not really as stoked on Mulan but The Little Mermaid should be good. Already saw Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin and The Jungle Book. Haven't seen Dumbo yet. 
They are going to do a Cruella de Vil live movie which I think will be cool. They also have Peter Pan and Pinocchio planned. Movies about Snow White's sister, Cinderella's Prince Charming, and Tinkerbell. I'm also excited about Lady and the Tramp and Lilo and Stitch.
Among others being talked about already though a few of these might be released for Disney's streaming service instead of theatrical release which is dumb but...

I haven't seen any of them. I wasn't fond of Beauty and The Beast though which is a pity because I love the cartoon.

Honestly wish they’d just stop making live actions as they never end up good no matter what they do.
