Im just so annoyed right now. My doctor has been having me see a specialist since 35 weeks because baby was measuring big. And the specialist told them that it was their opinon that i should be induced at 39 weeks and to have weekly nst's to check baby. They put in my chart at the 35 week appointment and i had to go back for a follow up at 38 weeks. At 38 weeks baby was measuring 8lbs 8 oz. And they put it in my chart that there would be no benefit to me or my baby to let me go passed 40 weeks. And that i should be induced at 39 weeks. And my doctors just arent listening to them. Im currently 40 weeks and 1 day and they still havent scheduled me and i havent had any nst's done or anything. The one doctor wven said he'd rather wait and just go straight for a c section if baby was 10 pounds. Like my last daughter was 9 pounds at my 37 week check up i was already 3cm dilated and 60% effaced. Like why wouldnt you just induce me at 39 weeks and let me do this on my own cause clearly i can deliever a 9 pound baby. Like i dont even understand why they sent me to this specialist if they werent gunna listen to them anyway. And i keep asking and bringing it up and theyre being so dismissive. Theyre solution is to just bring me in for extra appointments besides the weekly one. Like that doesnt help and your wasting my time. I dont even wanna go to my next appointment because it doesnt feel like its gonna make a difference.
