So I'm 12+1 today and we haven't announced to my family yet, this is baby #5 for us we have a 10yr old, a 5yr old, and 18month twins. We told my husbands family and they're ecstatic and excited for us and we have completely avoided telling my family because they're all so negative particularly my mom... my mom told to abort my older 2 boys because she didn't like their dad (hes a crappy person, but I would have never aborted my babies on that reason) and then when me and my husband found out that we were having twins she pulled me aside later and told me that I have to give one up for adoption because theres no way we could handle 2 babies at once, which was an awful thing to say and I think we've done pretty damn good, I have 4 healthy happy kids! Well she suspects that I'm pregnant, and the other night she asked if I had taken a test yet and before I could even answer her she starts going off on "if you're pregnant you better abort it blah blah blah" and then starts saying better yet just give it up for adoption and get a chunk of money!!! I couldn't even believe her! I just hung up the phone is absolute disgust with her... ugh I know shes going to flip her lid when we confirm and announce and tell her we're keeping it... anyone else have to deal with similar situations? Could use some advise and encouragement
