When you hear the name Jamie, do you think of a boy or girl?

I always thought Jamie was a boys name, nickname for James.  But in some of my research, it’s saying it’s a girls name. What do you think?

I know a handful of Jamie’s that are girls... my old roommate from college was a female Jamie but then I know of a few male Jamie’s as well. I believe there is a spelling difference too but I know a female Jaime and Jamie so I guess it just depends. I know a James who goes by the nickname Jamie and they call their son the name. 
It’s pretty evenly split for me lol

Boy, but that's because I don't know any Jamies but my MIL calls my husband Jamie (his name is James)
