Bloody show after cervical exam? Don’t worry- no pics!

Question

If i have pink mucus a few hours after getting checked, did the cervical exam cause my bloody show/mucus plug to appear? Or it’s just normal to have that happen? My doctor didn’t warn me of that but I know I’ve seen it posted on here. Is it worth calling over?
Also, I was not dilated at all. 37.3 weeks!

A little blreding is normal after they checked your cervix.

It’s normal to have spotting after being checked. For me, bloody show was pretty obvious, like lots of discharge (much more than usual) ranging from brownish to red, it’s hard to remember. Lol But I know it was clear to me that is was my bloody show.
