I am currently on 10 units of levemir that I administer using an insulin pen (it’s preloaded with insulin and I just turn a dial to 10 units and inject). I wondered if I would still be able to use the pen if I had to continue to increase my units. I’ve seen some people say they have to take 30 or more units and I just wondered if I would then have to use a vial and syringe. I definitely prefer the pen since the needle is so small I can’t hardly feel it!
