Postpartum pad sickles???

I see soooo many people talking about these pad sickles frozen after being soaked in which hazel...... but doesn’t that burn????🤔 all I can imagine is the equivalence of someone pouring alcohol in an open wound lol

All I've heard about them is they don't soak up blood because they're saturated already...and that you should just use the pain killer spray they give you at the hospital lol.

I hated them... once they melted which didn’t take long it was like wearing a soggy diaper. I just used witch hazel pads after the bathroom and took Advil for the swelling, even with a second degree tear that was good enough.

Your supposed to have witch hazel aloe vera and lavender oil. And about the pain I am not sure haven't used them before and also never had pain spray from hospital so I am not sure every hospital does that. The cold is supposed to sooth the burning sensation!! I am going to try it!! Only making a few to start with though just in case I don't like them!!

I personally didn’t have any pain after, only if I peed, and then I’d have my best friend the peri bottle to help with that. I don’t see the point in them unless your someone who’s in a lot of pain after, but I also feel like the pad already being wet will make the bleeding worse because it’s not gonna absorb more and it’ll make the blood more watery.
