No period for over a year
I am 14 yrs old almost 15, and the last time I got my period was May 2018. I don’t know why, but it hasn’t come. I’ve had absolutely no symptoms. It’s like I never even got my period, it just disappeared. Before it dissappeared, it wouldn’t come for a couple months and was very irregular. I am active, it disappeared around the time i started working out (30 mins on the treadmill, fast walking). It wasn’t intense exercise. I ate plenty of food. Now I am doing a little over an hour of intense exercise every day and my doctor recommended that I start eating more healthy fats. It’s been a few months of eating a lot of peanut butter, avocados, nuts, etc and it still hasn’t come. I don’t think periods disappear for over a year because of exercise. My body should be used to it by now. Does anybody know what may be going on? Is my body still getting used to my menstrual cycle?
