Unexpectedly Pregnant!?

Question

So I don't want to make this a long post so here goes:
I had an ectopic pregnancy on May 20th and had my left tube removed. I've been on sick leave since then. My period returned on June 7th - 11th and during my ovulation week I spotted minimally  for 5 days. We just got back from out of town for my best friend's wedding and hubby kept saying I should take a test. Annoyed, I got the test to prove I wouldn't be pregnant and...

WTH!!!! I'm rationalizing that my HCG levels may not be back down after the ectopic. What do you think? Could I be pregnant this soon after an ectopic?!

Thaank you everyone for the love and support. I Went to my Dr and got a blood test done and it is confirmed we are about 4 weeks now! But I have to get an ultrasound to ensure it's in the right place! Keep praying and hoping for the best.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Just retest In the morning to make sure!

From what you've said it would seem this is a new pregnancy. You had a period June 7-11 so your hcg levels must have returned to their non pregnant state at that point else you wouldn't have bled.
