Induced Labor?

I'm being induced friday and I'm excited but starting to get nervous like maybe I'm not prepared enough. Any advice? Is there anything that will be different and what should I expect? Is there anything I should bring differently as well?

I had to get induced with my son at 38 weeks. I was nervous as well. I was in labor for 25 hours and ended up needing an emergency c-section because my sons heart rate kept dropping and I developed a high fever and preeclampsia and high blood pressure so my doctor wanted to take him out asap. During my labor everything went smooth I was barely in any pain until they popped my water and stared me on pitocin then that’s when I asked for the epidural. You will be fine and as far as bringing anything I would say whatever you want to keep you busy and comfortable. But the hospital pretty much provides everything for you so there is really nothing different you need. Good luck to you!

I’m in the same situation getting induced Friday with the foley balloon and I’m so nervous. I’m trying for a vbac after 8 years of my c section. My doctor told me I’m a good candidate for it but I can stop thinking about it.
