Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years, I’m very independent and work everyday also in college. I never ask him for anything he works as well. He doesn’t like when he tries to buy me things and I say no. I want him to save for his goals, and he wants me to stop saying no to gifts even on Valentine’s Day I say dont get me anything. What do I do ? I love him sooooo much he’s such a good guy.

Update : I read every comment thank you all so much for giving me advice. I’m now aware of how rude that came off and about love languages. I told him I was sorry and he’s super exited to get me gifts now 🥰
