It’s a long story that I’ll try to condense.

For reasons relating to my career and finances, my husband and I need to decide in the next few months if we will try for a 3rd baby.

Everyone keeps saying things like ‘when you’re done, you just know you’re done’ and ‘you’ll never regret a child that you have, but you’ll always regret the one you didn’t’.

Neither of us has a strong ‘we’re done’ feeling. Logically we think 2 would be easier, but we can’t help but think about a third.

Do you believe it’s true that you just know when you’re done?
