My fiancé and I started dating when we were in 8th grade. It’s been 7 and a half years now, and we are still going strong. 
If the effort is there from both sides, y’all could last a million years.

I guess some last some don’t, the fact that its been a year makes it more positive tho I think. I’m personally glad me and my childhood sweetheart didn’t last. But my mom & dad have been together since they were 16, they were married at 17 and had my sister, another 4 kids and they are still married now 47yrs later. So it could last! I hope you both have a happy life together ❤️

My husband and I have been together since we were sixteen. We have been married 4 years, bought a house and just had our first baby in April. It takes work and effort but you never know! ☺️

I can’t answer this honestly.  I was to young but had traumatic experiences(not relationship related) everyone I’ve known has said they’d wished they’d waited. I get that,I know the percentages and they keep getting smaller for HS sweethearts,second,third marriages etc. until my thirties I’d never looked at a person and thought,hmmmm......”I can see myself growing old w you”. You can’t,not until your mature enough to “see yourself” old.
