Multiple doctors?

My gyno doesn’t deliver any more and now I referred to another office. I made appointment but apparently I am going to be seen by all the doctors in the office. Is it not common any more to have one doctor you go to consistently for delivery?

The office I am going to use I will be rotated amongst all of the doctors. There reasoning is to have all of the doctors familiar with me and my pregnancy since there is no way of knowing which one will be on call when I go into labor.

I see primarily my chosen doctor, but if something were to happen (babies come when the feel like it) the other doctors will see me for my visits. They rotate the on call schedule so there is a good chance that a different doctor will deliver for me if my baby decides after hours is a good time (which they usually do)
