My son only nurses. He is 4.5 months and is teething. On Sunday he refused my right breast completely until I tricked him by starting off on my left then switching to the right using the football hold.

Today he refused both breasts whilst screaming as he was hungry. He will open his mouth, bite down on my nipple then get all red and angry and wriggle his way off. . I expressed due to how engorged I was, however he does not take a bottle.

I know it might be due to teething and his gums being sore.

Has anyone got any tips? And if you’ve been through it, how long did it last?
