My first pregnancy was healthy and all was well. When she turned 6yo we started trying for baby #2... I had two miscarriages in 2017 (both in the first trimester, about 6 months between them), I got pregnant for the 4th time in my life in January of 2018 and had a healthy baby boy in September 2018. One pregnancy does not define the next. Yes, I had two miscarriages and they are difficult and very hard to go through, but they are not guaranteed. Take the time you need to grieve, but try not to let fear hold you back.

I had a healthy pregnancy. But then he was born at 24 weeks due to an incompetent cervix.

I miscarried my second pregnancy at 8 weeks, my third pregnancy ended at 20+3 due to preterm labor. Currently 16+1 with a cute heathy little one.

I miscarried #2, but got pregnant right away after...just remember that most of the women on here have losses/experience some issues with fertility so it may be a scary percentage that have multiple miscarriages in your poll. My advice is to get in touch with a good reproductive endocrinologist if this happens again. Mine offered some advice as far as vitamins/supplements to take. I also started a healthier/whole foods diet, started drinking 100oz of water every day and exercising 5-6 days a week after my second miscarriage. Not saying any of this was what helped, but it just put me in a better position physically, mentally and emotionally to move forward.
