What to doooooo?!

So, my daughters 1st birthday is coming up soon 
(October 12) and I’m due w/ baby #2 November 2nd..😭 
Idk if it would be a good idea to combine baby shower and 1st birthday or just have it separate?
Thoughts?

Why have a baby shower for a second baby? Skip the shower and do the first birthday instead

My daughter’s birthday is July 3 and our second is due August 5. We had a birthday party, but not a second baby shower.

I had just very close family over at the house for both my daughter and son's first birthdays. Maybe do that instead of a party?

With the kiddos so close in age I personally would not do a shower. I would just do the first birthday with family and maybe do a sip and see party after baby comes?

I would have the party for your 1 year old then do a meet the baby party after baby gets here.

I had my baby shower last Saturday and my youngest will be 4 tomorrow,  her party is this sat. I just spaced them out 2 weeks apart so it was easier

We aren’t doing a first birthday party. We are doing a family birthday experience. We haven’t decided if we want to take her to the Grand Canyon or stay closer to home (Texas). If we stay home we will most likely make it a 3-day event & go to a drive thru zoo, aquarium, botanical gardens, etc before coming back home for her favorite dinner and a homemade smash cake... but we live in a different state than friends and family. 
I personally wouldn’t have a baby shower if I had children that close together. Maybe a “sprinkle” if the baby is a different sex.
