I went to the fertility dr. yesterday and was finally diagnosed with PCOS. I say finally because I have said this to my obgyn a number of times and she said that I don’t meet the criteria. I am still doing all the diagnostic testing. I called to schedule my day 3 blood work and my nurse told me the dr wants to put me on birth control to control my cycles. This feels counter productive but they insist that it will allow them to start my cycle when they want once my diagnostic testing is complete. The dr is leaning towards Metformin, Chlomid, and <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>.

Is this normal?
