19 weeks +2 days! Today was my first centering pregnancy appt and we loved it! Now instead of 1on1 with a midwife or ob it's a group setting. Each appt is now going to be 2 hours long!! Me and my husband really enjoyed it and it just felt so much more personal than the 15 minute rushed 1on1s. I also felt like the midwives and OB were just soooooo much NICER! being in the military it can be kinda hard finding good care. Before I just felt rushed and had no relationship with any of the midwives we've seen. Now I know who is going to deliver my baby and I'm going to see him every appt.(unless he cant make it for some reason of course) and I get to meet other women due around the same time as me! They also go over alot of information so it's kinda like prenatal classes too! I'm really just feeling so much better about my prenatal care now then I was doing the 1on1s. And I'm really thankful I have my husband who goes and is really involved and interested in everything 💙
