Advice? All the advice. Please

Question

I am due September 11th, but I scheduled my Induction with my doctor today for September 3rd. I’m super excited to see my baby. (Doing Induction bc I live far from my doctor and I have a blood disorder!) any advice for induction? I’m a first time mom. Please leave your experiences below!!

Bring a book or something to occupy your time. They often take awhile to get things moving.

If you plan on having the epidural I would say get it right away before the whole process as the pain was unbearable (my opinion)

Movies!! Oh and eat before hand, once you are there and hooked up the only thing you can have is jello (bring your own) and broth... with my son it took 30hrs from start to finish and it was awful doing all that on an empty stomach. I was soooo hungry. Other than that just entertainment, it can either go super quick or take forever

I haven’t been induced, but my twin sister has. She liked having her firestick to pass the time. Also, I’m having a c section for baby #2 on September 3rd too!
