First food??

My baby is 5 months and she’s ready for solids!! What first foods did you all try?! I heard not to try sweets first but does sweet potatoes count??

Sweet potatoes were my little guys first snack lol and he loved them!

We started with quinoa/oatmeal cereal then slowly introduced veggie/fruit purées.

We did green beans. Will try avocado next

Veggies! I did parsnip, butternut squash, sweet potato, broccoli, green beans, avacado and courgette 
Loved them all except swede and parsnip

Then veggies.

She’s beautiful! We were told to start with green veggies first, then orange, then yellow.

I did mashed potatoes!! I just let them cool in the freezer and them mashed them up with formula.
