So yesterday was my 19 weeks.

Yesterday we found out this little gift I have been granted to carry and bring into this world is a boy.

Yesterday I was told everything is perfect.

Yesterday I was also told my little gift has gastroschisis.

I know it isn't a major defect but I need reassurance.

I need more women, more mothers to wonderful gifts to tell me and remind me that this isn't my fault, I didnt cause this, that this does happen.

I have done research on top of research and nothing will help me feel better.

Has anyone elses gift been born with this??? Did it reverse and/or correct itself before birth? How long was the surgery?? How long before you could touch and hold your sweetest gift after they finally took a breath on their own??? I need answers I need reassurance.
