Car seat!!!

Hello ,

So, I was in a car accident and my 18 month was with me the fire fighter said , her car seat had to be thrown away. She was in a chicco brand . The insurance said, to buy another one cut the straps from the old one and send the info of the new one I buy her . Can you ladies please post pictures of what you have your toddlers on ?? I don’t want to go waste $400 on another chicco or yes the brand , but not as expensive. Thank you!!!

We have the britax boulevard. I was going to go w graco because of the price but they use some pretty nasty chemicals for something your baby is in so often. This one is nontoxic and extremely safe.

You should always get a new car seat after being in any accident with impact. Your insurance should be paying for the new one, no matter the cost.

If the insurance is paying and you liked the seat you have why not by the same?

Insurance wont replace the carseat? My car was broken into around Christmas and they broke the window directly next to my daughters carseat and insurance replaced the carseat

We have the Graco Extend2Fit. It has great safety ratings and is one of the top recommended budget friendly seats. It’s usually around $150 through Amazon/target

My daughter has this Graco 4ever 4-1. Very easy to install. I really like this car seat and will be getting one again soon for my next one. If you go on they’re website or YouTube there’s a video about it explaining about the car seat. Rear facing up to 40lbs or 2yrs and forward facing up to 65lbs and goes all the way up to 120lbs for booster.
