Is it bad if I want to go somewhere with my friends and they say “would your boyfriend let you go” ?

I chose yes but it depends l. Is he known for being possessive and controlling ? Or are ur friends just thinking that every bf is like that.

I remember someone asked me that and they also asked if my bf would “punish” me if I went out, I was like wtf no? They didn’t even know or even have met my bf before to even assume that. It was very weird. My boyfriend doesn’t even care where I go lol

unhealthy relationship with friends? yes, why are they wondering about your boyfriend's approval? unhealthy with your bf? depends, does you HAVE to ask, then yes. he doesnt own you. if you just simply tell him you're going out and he doesnt mind, then No. however if your friends are saying this out of a trend of your boyfriend controlling where you're going, your bf is controlling

Not necessarily, I personally like to discuss with my hubby before I go out somewhere. He doesn't ask me to do it, but I feel like he should know about my plans and a lot of times he saw the situation better than I do. People take it the wrong way when i say I have to discuss with my husband first.
