My little man could use some prayers and good vibes his way. We went to our 2 week checkup, and ended up traveling to a bigger hospital 2 1/2 hours from home immediately. After an ultrasound and getting settled into a room, we’ve found that he’s got a pretty big hole in his heart. They put him on some medicine to clear his lungs and will come back in in a couple of hours to explain what our follow up will be, but we will most likely get to go home today. We know if the hole doesn’t shrink within 4-5 months of age, he’ll need surgery by then. I’m absolutely exhausted and scared. But I think we need a mamaRoo, because that’s what they put him in here and he sleeps so soundly compared to at home 😂
