Advise from a mother that had her heart set on nursing and had trouble... don’t get set on just one way of feeding your baby! Fed is best, no matter what it takes for you to get there!!!

All of the above! Whatever works best to keep this baby’s belly full. Sometimes nursing doesn’t work out, pumping doesn’t seem to click with your body and you need to supplement with some formula. Maybe you won’t produce enough, maybe you will!  Don’t get discouraged if your plans don’t pan out. They hardly ever do. Happy feeding to you all 💕

I "plan" to nurse and feed.... however, I also planned to do the same with my first and wasn't able, I think due to high stress levels. So after supplementing with formula (she got about 2/3 formula 1/3 breast milk at each feeding) for me about the first month I had to go to only formula. I was too exhausted to function because I spent so much time trying to pump for literally nothing. So I plan to try again, and hopefully it goes better this time.
