First Pelvic Exam...Nervous!

So I get my BC off of Nurx but I’ve been having some pain with sex for the past 2 months and I’m finally facing my fears and going to get a pelvic exam after my Nurx provider begged me to. I have had some pain around the entrance of my vagina..and it seems to get worse every time I have sex. I haven’t had sex for awhile now because it literally scares me that it’s going to flare up! I and my partner have only ever had sex with each other so I’m not worried about STDs/STIs.

What should I expect at my first exam?

Any ideas what this could be?

Now I feel find but it always gets bad when I have sex.
