Any babies in toddler beds?

Question

My son is in his crib still but I feel like he’s outgrowing it. I’m hesitating for a big boy bed so I’d like to hear how your experiences went if you’ve transitioned!

I voted yes but we skipped the toddler bed and went straight to a twin size. The mattress has been on the floor for 1-2 months and we are thinking of getting her a frame now that she hardly ever falls out of it

My daughter is still in her crib however we just bought bunk beds for her and my older daughter. As soon as we get mattresses, we will be putting her into a twin bed. We have a 3 bedroom house and the kids rooms are fairly small so this was the best way to increase play space in their room. We will need the crib in October so we have to get her switched soon.

Just got my son a toddler bed June 30th. I’d say the 1st week was really hard. He wanted to get out of bed and play with his toys. But it slowly has gotten better. He still doesn’t stay in his bed, I have to stay in their with him and put him back in bed multiple times. Some nights are easier than others. If you think your child is ready than go for it!

We skipped the toddler bed and went right for the full size. He loves it and sleeps exactly the same as he did in the crib...and now I can lay in his bed and read to him before bed...it is so much easier for both of us

My daughter was in a mini crib until a couple weeks ago. I noticed she was basically the full length of the mini crib (I think it’s about 34 inches wide), so we got her a used full size crib/toddler bed. She knew how to climb out of her crib, but she rarely actually did it. We decided to see what would happen if we left the front off the crib and amazingly she slept in it completely normally. Sometimes I know she does get out and walk around the room, but she always gets back in and goes to sleep. She does surprisingly well in it. She does roll out so I rolled a fat pool noodle in a blanket and stuffed it under the fitted sheet and it seems to be helping keep her in. 
I can’t imagine her growing out of the full size crib/toddler bed any time soon.

Had to switch my daughters crib to a toddler bed..... she started climbing out of her crib. 🤦‍♀️
