Why am I drooling when I sleep?!? 😴🤤

I am 37 weeks pregnant and have noticed since The beginning of my third trimester, I tend to drool when I’m sleeping. Especially if I’m in a deep sleep. Why is this? Is it because pregnant women salivate more? Has this happened to anyone else? It even wakes me up lol. Oh the joys of pregnancy 🤰🏼

I do believe pregnant women produce more saliva, plus I read that our nasal passages tend to swell a bit, so maybe during a deep sleep you're not breathing well thru your nose and relying more on open mouth breathing? I snored like a farm cow the last few months, becuaee I couldn't breath as well from my nose

Me too! Even just drifting off, I have saliva dripping down my chin. 29+5 today...

Yes! It's gotten worse in the third trimester. I woke last night and it was running down my chin and neck lmao
