this is my 2nd pregnancy and i failed the 3hr glucose test. i’m currently 26 weeks & 5 days. with my first pregnancy i passed the test. i’m waiting for the diabetes center to call me and set up an appt to go over all the info & to get the little machine that checks the sugar. the doctor said i dont need to be put on medicine just be on a diet & check my sugars 4 times a day... but to anyone who has failed the 3hr test did y’all get induced early for labor? what type of diet did y’all get put on? did you end up having a c section bc of the baby being to big? my next ob appt isn’t till july 19th. will the doctor give sonograms every appt to monitor the baby? i’m so clueless on everything related to gestational diabetes.
