I work, go to school, and also take care of my daughter and chores around the house. My husband refuses to help me around the house because according to him cooking, washing dishes, house duties are duties for a women. We are constantly arguing because of this. He comes from a Mexican machismo culture so it's what he is use to but I am not. I was raised in a family where my dad always helped out my mother around the house. I refuse to raise my daughter in this setting, thinking his way of thinking is okay. It's not.
