If your LO flips onto their tummy at night do you flip them back?

It’s a new thing my daughter keeps doing. She has been a side sleeper up until this point. If I flip her back she wakes up. 🤦🏻‍♀️

When he does it he wakes up like 'woah what just happened?' and stays awake thinking it's tummy time. Silly baby. 
As long as your baby moves their head to the side and doest keep their face in the mattress then just leave them. It's completely up to you whatever you're comfortable with though

Why are you flipping her back? If they can get onto their tummies on their own then it’s safe to leave them :) most babies prefer sleeping on their bellies eventually

I do, but only because my baby screams until we come and flip him. I tried letting him be once to see if he would settle and the screaming just got worse 🤦🏻‍♀️

I do just because he's still sleeping in a bassinet and he kind of gets stuck on the wall he's good at rolling one way but not the other way

My pediatrician said as long as you’re putting baby to sleep on back, if they roll, it is safe to leave them.

I wouldn’t if she was content and sleeping that way!!!! Been trying to figure out what on earth to do. She won’t settle, won’t even put her head down, and just cries and screams once she’s had enough and can’t get herself back over. She only rolls one way so when she reaches the side of the crib and can’t go any farther...I have been trying during the day to encourage her rolling the OTHER way because she could get herself out of the tummy situation on her own then. But yeah I eventually flip her and oftentimes she just rolls again. Even once she seems like almost asleep. I haven’t known what to do

I’m the opposite over here! I’ve put my baby to sleep on his belly since he was 8 weeks old. Now he rolls to his back and gets PISSED! 😂
