Does your baby hold their bottles on their own

Strictly nursing, so he’s never had a bottle. He likes to hold his own spoon though, so I imagine he would want to hold his own bottle if he had one.

Yes and no. I hold it for him and he’ll try to help hold it and either knocks it out of my hand or gets milk all over him self cuz he try’s holding the nipple not the bottle

I breastfeed  and sometimes  do the bottle but he is very adamant at holdingnit himself...and well sippy cup he spots it and is like gimmmmmmeeee hahha

We try to NOT let him do that because we are mostly direct nursing and we still do paced feeding when he gets a bottle. 
He holds his sippy cup for water but hasn't quite figured out how far he needs to tip it to drink. Mostly he just chews on it.
