Any success with surgical sperm retrieval????

Question

So we found out today hubby is going to need surgical sperm retrieval (TESE or TESA, not sure which) to have a chance of getting any sperm for us to use for <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> with ICSI.

Does anyone have any success stories with this? I don't know how likely it is they will get sperm from this and feel so scared that this is our last chance to have a shot at having his biological children 😭

Strangely, both my husband and I and some friends of ours both have Azoospermia. We weren’t able to retrieve viable sperm from the testes so we had to use donor for IVF. Our friend were successful after about 12 attempts. Good luck! 🍀

I have not but one of my really good friends just went through this. Her husband showed nothing on normal sperm test but with the procedure they did get some and they are in the IVF process right now!
