Insert help?

Hey y’all! I’m a first time mom and am trying to get used to the pocket cloth diapers and inserts. I have the traditional prefolds with plastic covers down so no worries on those. My question is with the inserts: do I change out the inserts when the baby pees and stick a new insert in or do I change the entire diaper out completely? (Tips and advice is totally helpful!) Thanks in advance!

For Pocket diapers you need to change the whole thing even if it's only pee.

I put the inserts (if the fabric is ok of course) outside of the pocket and reuse if it’s only pee like with the prefolds.

For pocket you need to change out every time. But for covers you can reuse and just change out the inserts
