Take home outfit?

Baby is due mid August, so it’ll be pretty hot coming home. How are u mamas dressing your summer babies when leaving the hospital?

I'll be putting her in a short sleeve onesie and light cotton pants so her legs don't rub on the car seat straps. Take into account that baby will only be outside for a minute or two and you'll have your AC on in the car. I'll be bringing a blanket to cover her arms and legs if she gets cold.

I’m in Oklahoma, so I have a thin sleeper packed just Incase it’s rainy or something weird. Then also this onesie type thing. She has other outfits if we need them. But this one is the one I’m planning on using! ❤️

I'm bringing a sleeper and a hat. Babies when first born cant regulate their body temp that early. It takes a bit for them to start doing that. Itll be hot so I need to be carful and not use think blankets but I dont need to dress her with her legs and arms showing cause we will have fans and air conditioning on and in our house we keep it cold inside. She only be outside for a short period of time

This isn’t my picture but I bought this exact set! I’m in Alabama so it’s super hot... this fabric seems really breathable and I have the blanket to go over him too.

I'm bringing a couple options just to be safe. I have a white cotton long sleeve/pant onesie with mits and feet built in. And a short sleeve undershirt with pants and separate mits/socks just in case. Also bringing a couple swaddles. I really wasnt sure lol
