How soon do you test for pregnancy after missed period?

Me... After? Hahaha-no.
I started testing at 8dpo because i get antsy. 
Bfp at 9dpo. 
Bfp at 10dpo with my son.
With my miscarriage, I didn't get my BFP till 13dpo. 
With my chemical pregancy, I didn't get my BFP till 12dpo. 
I dont know if my body just doesn't do well with later implantation.

Tested once with our first. 
Texted a thousand times for our second. 
We’re currently TTC our third and I’m not testing till I miss my period....I’m talking like a week late. I spent so much money. Besides I like the anticipation. The “what if” feeling. As soon as I get a BFN all those wonderful thoughts are gone!

I don’t own hcg strips. I never test asthe heartbreak sucks and seeing stark white hurts. I just almost go on till I’m throwing up...then I may go to doctor for bloodwork and something for nausea
