Dr Brown bottles- when to stop using green vent?

Hi ladies I have a 6 month old using the Dr. Brown options bottle with the green vent because early on she had bad gas. I’m just wondering when I can stop using it or if I just always use it? I actually tried not using it this morning and so many bubbles were in the bottle, she was sucking on it weird and it was making a noise. When I pulled the bottle out the whole nipple was compressed. Any ideas??

I use dr brown mixing pitcher and then pour desired amount into each bottle. 0 bubbles

My baby is six months and I still use the Green parts it cuts his burps in half

I use these bottles and don’t plan to stop using the stem. There’s no harm in using it. One time a family member put a bottle together for my baby and forgot the stem and it leaked everywhere so I’m not sure they’re even made to be used without it.

The green vented bottles are the ones that give you the "option" to use it or not. The blue ones you have to use with the bottles. I have removed all of the stems from my Dr. Browns bottles about 3 weeks ago. My lo was also a very gassy baby, but I give her gas relief drops in her final bottle of the day and she has done very well with the bottles over these 3 weeks. Also, it makes cleaning so much easier! It's your choice as to whether you remove them, you can always try and if you notice her acting more fussy go back to using them.
