When did you TTC after miscarriage?

Question

I’ve read the reasons as to why it’s sometimes recommended to wait 1 - 3 months (or cycles) before trying again after mc but just interested to hear real experiences - what did you do, what was right for you?

I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks in December ‘18 and decided not to try any time soon as I was not in the right mental state... finally back to feeling like myself again, and plan on trying the end of August - so a solid 8/9 months after. 
I was cleared to try after I physically recovered from the D&C..

Answer

I usually only wait one month since that’s what my doctor recommends but this time I’m waiting 2 months because I’m waiting to get all my testing done. One of my doctor’s said I could try this month right after my HSG but I realized how scared I was of another miscarriage so I’m waiting until my husband gets his semen analysis to rule out any issues with him first. Waiting is really killing me inside though 😢
