Have you had your cervix length checked? I’m 20 weeks had my anatomy scan but no cervix length.

When I had my anatomy scan on Tuesday they measured mine.

They measured me with my first bc I had had a LEEP procedure done in the past.  I had no issues and they didn’t measure for second. They haven’t said whether they will this time or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

They didn’t tell me the exact measurement, but Doctor said it was “nice and thick” 😂

I had mine measured at my level II ultrasound & if measured shortish so they are doing a repeat cervical length US on Wednesday.. fingers crossed I don’t need a cleage

They measured at my 13 week scan and it was 40 mm. At my anatomy scan he said it hadn’t changed.

I only had my cervix measured during my anatomy scan because I had part of it removed due to cancer cells and wanting to stay ahead of any possible issues with incompetent cervix so I could have a cerclage (sp?) Placed if I was thinning or dilating. Turns out I have a super thick cervix so no worries. They usually don't do checks unless there is reason to suspect issues. I hadn't had one done before and this is my 5th baby! If you are worried you might be able to request one depending on your doctor.

They only checked to make sure the placenta was far enough away from my cervix, I'm not sure if they checked my cervix length

They did mine at the 20 week anatomy scan. I had two miscarriages over 15 years ago. I am also of "advanced maternal age." I am not sure if they check everyone at this office, or if it was just because of my history.

Usually if they are worried about high risk then they’ll do one. Mine was 4.5 cm long. Good from my understanding

Generally, they only check it if you have a history of cervical incompetence or signs of potential incompetence. 
This is my third and only time they’ve ever measured. Although, I’ve had some spotting and lots of pain/pressure already so they did to be “safe”.
