Positive Test, but the lines aren't getting darker?

So I took my first test Monday and it was definitely positive, but I've take more throughout the week and they haven't gotten darker? I'm also having some light cramping today.. did anyone else experience this? This is my first pregnancy!

Pregnancy tests are not to test progression of pregnancy. All they do is tell if the hormone is present or if it's not. If you got a positive, it's positive!

I ended up taking another test this morning like a psycho, and the line is sooooo dark now!!! 😭😭💕💕

I have 4 kids and my tests were never super dark because I tend to drink a lot of water. They're not really a good measure of hgc levels beyond yes or no, because they're effected by the concentration of your urine.

Is it getting lighter? 
At a certain point, the dye can only get so dark. Even as the control line fades, the test line will only ever get so dark.  Congrats mama.
