When do I tell my parents I'm pregnant and how?

I currently live in Texas, I measure 8w and 4d even though im 7w and 4d. My parents are divorced but live in NC. If I tell either parent first its going to be a problem with the other. Getting them both on the phone is nearly impossible with their schedules. And Im NOT booking a $400 flight to tell them when I see them at graduation August 17th. How many weeks should I wait to tell and how? 
I will be open minded with any creative options!!!

I think you should send them each a mug (grandpa knows best, best grandma ever) in the mail from Amazon. This way you know it is getting there on the same day and it's out of your hands who gets it first. No one can be mad at you if the mail is delivered at different times

It is so hard managing parents that both want to know at the same time and feel hard done by when they don’t! I told mine together after my first ultrasound on a group chat with a photo. I like the idea of mailing them something because even if it ends up arriving at different times you can still say you treated them the same and fairly. Whatever you decide to do, just remember it’s about you and their grandchild not them and their relationship (and remind them if need be too!) All the best!

You could just tell them separately on the phone. If you think they’d care who was told first tell them both that you told them first, who cares 😂
