Do I still have a chance?

Hi, my ovulation OPK came súper positive on the 10 I was intimate with my husband 7 and 8 and for one reason and another it didn’t happen on the ovulation day. Question is do I still have a chance if OPK positive was on the 10th? Thanks

Ya if the sperm is healthy it can live up to 5 days inside.

Answer

The sperm can live for five days and the egg can live 12-24 hrs. Positive opk means you'll likely ovulate in 12-24 hours, but up to 48 hours is possible. So you probably ovulated on the 10th, but maybe the 11th, so you *might* have until the 12th to make it happen. That's a lot of "if's" though :) 
I think a good strategy is to have sex daily the few days before and few days after positive opk.
