Birth control that doesn’t heighten anxiety? Is it possible?

Madeline

This is going to be a long story so bear with me

I have been on the pill for 2 1/2 years starting off with Tri Nessa Lo. With that brand of pill I had no problems at all until my insurance switched me to Tri Lo sprintec for 3 months. Sprintec was absolute hell, I had panic attacks and could not bring my anxiety down no matter how hard I tried. I firmly believe there is something wrong with Sprintec, however it has made me afraid to go back on the pill because of that experience.

Fast forward to May and I had a copper iud inserted because I did not want hormones and even though it’s been 2 months, I’m unhappy and so is my boyfriend. My mental health has been better, but physically I’m uncomfortable. I feel it poking at me sometimes and I’m now spotting slightly because of the movement I guess (maybe getting used to my body? Please don’t make me panic if it’s something worse)

So my question for the discussion is what pills/other birth control have all of you tried that doesn’t increase anxiety? I’m fine with going back on the pill as long as it’s not Sprintec, but also curious about the patch and whatnot

Edit: yes I know it’s been a short amount of time for the iud and I should have given it more of a chance but I know something doesn’t feel right about it if you get what I mean
