I just want to know what everyone thinks. I personally think you ovulate first, because your period is the bleeding that occurs after ovulation.

Menstruation, because your period is cycle day 1.

It isn’t an opinion, it’s fact that you ovulate first. 
Hence why after people give birth they don’t know when they’re ovulating if their period hasn’t returned and you can get pregnant without having a period. And you have a period after the egg hasn’t been fertilised. So when you fall pregnant you don’t have a period.

Depends on how you look at it. Technically speaking you penetrate after ovulation because no egg implanted but... your period is the beginning of your cycle.

Your period comes first. You have to have a period before you can ovulate. Some women have periods without ovulating.
