sore gums? sign of pregnancy

I’ve heard of some people getting sore gums/pregnancy gingivitis, is is possible to get this in early pregnancy as a sign?
My gums are so sore swollen and inflamed, only at the back right though where my molars are!
Did anybody else experience this as a pregnancy symptom?

I had this symptom as my very first sign with all 7 of my pregnancies.  Everyone told me I was crazy when I said I knew everytime because of my gums being severely swollen and sore.

If your hormones levels are high enough to cause those problems they're high enough to turn a pregnancy test positive

Yes! I was officially diagnosed with pregnancy gingivitis last week by my dentist, but I’ve had the symptoms from the beginning. I’m now 20 weeks. Sensitive toothpaste helps a lot.

Usually sore gums don’t happen until later in on the pregnancy. I wouldn’t call it a sign of early pregnancy, but it is a symptom.
