Please find a reputable marriage therapist. I’ve been married 20 years, and we’ve had our ups and downs, but my husband would never do that! He still asks if it’s ok to get something from my purse or check the weather on my phone if he doesn’t have his nearby. It’s just a matter of trust and respect. You shouldn’t put up with that type of behavior and just obey because he’s your husband. Submitting does not mean being treated like that.

Many Christian couples share passwords and accounts. My husband and I have nothing to hide so we don’t. He shouldn’t snatch your phone but why are you being so secretive? In a Christian marriage it is not like any other. The commitment level is a bigger one than the status quo. It’s not supposed to be easy but it is supposed to be humbling and praise our God. Also perhaps your husband just needs some reassurance. If you open up your personal accounts he may no longer even need to look at them. He may just been to be reminded that you use these apps for entertainment only. And for yourself, make sure that that is the case.

The bible says wife listen to your own husband.  Nothing should be more important than your husband. If he don't want you to have it then get rid of it. Its bible and it what would please God.

I’ve seen relationships like this and it’s not healthy for anyone. My dad does this to my mom and it sucks. It sucks my my brothers my mom and me. I’m sorry that this is happening to you and honestly I don’t know what to tell you. Only you can decide what to do and I know that in your heart you will do the right thing :)

Your feelings are valid. I’d suggest third party counseling (if he will go) with a good marriage and family therapist. Sometimes (not ALL), the other party may be engaging in dishonest conduct. Or there may be something going on with me and he doesn’t feel worthy. It may be his own issue. Either way, a third party could help you get to the root of this. It may turn out that he needs to see someone on his own. You won’t know until you go and speak with someone together. ❤️
