Hello.. OBGyn just confirmed that I have Endo (most probably a chocolate cyst on my right ovary) and it’s pretty big about 5.5 cm. She suggested me to get a surgery to remove it (which means I will live with only one ovary after the surgery) and it sounds so scary to me 😭

My HSG test come back normal, both sides are patent, no blockage which is good.

I did a blood test too to check identify if there is any tumor, and the test come back normal.

I have rarely any pain during or before period..

my period also very regular.

My Obgyn asked me to think about getting the surgery for a month while taking medicines which I think is a form of birth control.

Should I take the medicine ? I know it will make it impossible for me to TTC this cycle and left with no possibility.

Anyone with similar case ? What do you do if you are in my position ?

- take the medicine or not ?

- proceed with surgery?

- find second opinion first?
