Spotting ?

I went to the ER on Wed. For spotting. After an ultrasound they stated they may see 2 gestational sacs instead of one but they couldn’t confirm yet. But either way no heartbeat was found in either one yet. Still early so I not they wasn’t too concerned because everything looked fine. But I’m still spotting and I’m debating on going BACK to the ER but I have an appointment set for Thursday. Is anyone else having this problem? Could it be due to twins? And should I just wait on my appointment or go back to the ER?
