did anyone actually succeed with naturally inducing labor?

If so, what worked for you? I know baby comes when they’re ready but curious if all the things to help it along actually worked for anyone!

I took castor oil the day before my due date with my 3rd baby and it definitely worked! I took my first dose in the morning and had him by supper time. I googled how much to take and followed instructions I found on a blog. It was small doses mixed with orange juice throughout the day, so it didn't taste too bad or send me to the toilet too much. I will say, I experienced the most intense/painful/worst contractions ever and had no time for meds when I got to the hospital. I will not be doing that ever again. 😂

Most things that are said to help labor start or whatever. Are only said to be done to make labor easier for you and possibly faster (doubtful). And anyone who says like. I did this then immediately went into labor. It’s 99% of the time just a coincidence unless it’s like medication or something like that. 
But if you wanna try things anyways. Bumpy car rides are supposed to help. Walking up and down stairs. 🤷🏼‍♀️
